Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design
A strong portfolio showcasing products on the market
Design leadership skills and experience
4+ years of professional experience(design consultancy preferred)
Great problem-solving and communication skills.
Demonstrate strong mechanical understanding and ability to interact with internal and external engineering teams.
Must have a portfolio that showcases a thoughtful creative process, excellent form control, and storytelling
Proficient 3D CAD and renderings abilities
Inspiring/Strong 2D sketching and visual communication skills
Eligible documentation to work in the United States
Comfortable with remote/hybrid setting

Duties / Responsibilities:
Work on a broad range of advanced and diversified design projectsBring projects from concept through development to market
Develop and coordinate presentations in a professional manner detailing the scope of a directive
Meet established deadlines
Responsible for executing designs that achieve feasibility at a production and engineering level
Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams internal and external (Design/ENG/Vendors)
Create compelling designs based on Ideation, Research, and Product Requirements
Providing design support to all levels of designers and engineers.
Developing and seeing through design from concept to final deliverables.(manufacturing experience in production- injection molding, machining, sheet metal, cut and sew is a plus, but not a requirement)
Delivering on time.
Desired Skills / Experience:
1-4 Years of relevant experience or recent graduate with consultancy internship experience (consultancy experience preferred)
Excellent at analog sketching, digital sketching, model making, and functional mock-ups
Excellent communication skills: written/verbal/presentation
Working knowledge of 3D Modelling software(Solidworks, Rhino, Keyshot)
Excellent at Illustrator and Photoshop
Willingness to lead at times, but also take direction and learn from others.

Overview:
We're seeking a Product Design Engineer with Senior Mechanical Engineering experience to support our product design team. This Mechanical Engineer position will support and lead various projects including but not limited to consumer electronics, earphones/headphones, smart electronics, medical devices, and vehicle design (huge plus if you have prior experience).
The Mechanical Engineer is tasked to:
Research, plan, analyze, conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical solutions associated with said projects.Analyze mechanical and related systems in support of prototype and mass production.Use advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures.Conducts and supports subsystem and system integration, verification activities, and prototype/procurement planning.Ensures technical outcomes are consistent with established engineering principles and practices and that customer and company technical, system, performance, and quality requirements are met.Performs engineering design, development, analysis, experimentation, test and/or product assurance tasks of limited complexity for assigned portions of a project.Ensures tasks meet cost, quality, schedule, and performance requirements.Applies engineering design and/or analytical theory, principles, techniques, and practices to a technical project.Performs basic technical analysis, testing, calculations, and evaluation of results using specialized equipment and/or by computer programs.Analyzes and interprets design specifications, drawings, documentation, models, and/or test results to ensure technical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, product specifications, and requirements.Develops and maintains effective relationships with customers to solve technical problems and implement solutions of limited complexity.Acquires and maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant engineering discipline(s), industry practices, trends, and applications.Investigates root-cause analysis of design issues arising during production and develops the associated change documentation to resolve design issues.Works closely with a team of design engineers and other specialty engineers to resolve design issues that span such areas as electrical and mechanical.Works closely with overseas manufacturers to identify the root cause of various production and procurement issues and the appropriate path forward.Provide Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) support
Education:
Minimum requirement - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university.
Required Skills and Experience:
Professional knowledge of fundamental engineering principles, concepts, practices, and procedures of the relevant technical field of specialization.Familiarity with Google drive + software suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs); and technologies in applicable engineering disciplines.Solidworks experienceProficiency to create and maintain large spreadsheets for tracking and managing Bill of Materials (BOM).Ability to work with Industrial Designers to solve technical design and development problems.Skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with customers to solve technical problems.Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Conceptualizes mechanical architecture at a high level and has professional experience with mechanisms/mechanical systems.Proven technical troubleshooting skillsStrong organizational skills and proven ability to proactively coordinate multiple entities to achieve final deliverables.Familiarity with relevant personal and commercial design standards.Prior consulting experience a plus.Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing ASME Y14.5-2009
Overview:
We are seeking to add a new member to become an integral part of our team! Overview:
This is a paid internship to help support our growing digital media/marketing team. This is a remote position; but occasionally there will be in-office requirements, like photoshoots, video production, etc. We anticipate the internship to be for 3 months. Our goal is for this to turn into a longer term arrangement for the right candidate.
